Garden Club News
This week in Garden Club we harvested our broccoli! Did you know you don't need to harvest the entire head? You can just pick what you need! We all got to pick our own piece of broccoli to make Garlic Buttered Broccoli - Yum!
The recipe is below:
Ingredients: Broccoli, salt, garlic (either crushed cloves or minced), butter and water. Amount varies depending on the amount of broccoli.
Method:
* Bring water to a rolling boil.
* Salt generously
* Place broccoli into the water and cook until just tender. The broccoli should be a brilliant green.
* Melt butter and garlic together in the microwave
* Drizzle garlic butter over the broccoli
* Enjoy!
We love sharing new foods and recipes with our friends!
Happy Gardening, Mrs Watts & Miss Norris
