Letter from the Principal - Brad Toole
Dear Parents,
Last week was National Child Protection Week. At All Hallows we put children first by prioritising their safety and wellbeing.
We are committed to providing a safe environment for all students, parents and staff. All staff in our schools promote child safety by having a clear understanding of their child protection responsibilities.
If you have a concern, we encourage parents and students to talk to the Principal or other senior staff members at the school. At times you may feel it is not appropriate to speak with the Principal, if this is the case please contact the office of Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst, Phone 6338 3000. We will listen to your concerns and offer assistance, all complaints and allegations are taken seriously and responded to with sensitivity.

R.E. MATTERS - Walking in the Light of Christ
This term our focus is SERVE. We aim to celebrate one another in our All Hallows community through service. As parents and teachers, we certainly meet Jesus every day in our children.
God has put us within our domestic church to help work out the salvation of our children, our spouses, and ourselves. Countless opportunities for grace are offered each day.
Hidden within the care of the family or household chores, our Lord presents many encounters and experiences for us. It is up to us to decide to respond in love to everything we face.
“Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.
We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.”
“Spread love everywhere you go.” Saint Teresa of Calcutta
Christmas Art
Congratulation to Lexi Williams ( Yr 5) who was awarded the Mayor’s Award prize for her artwork ‘ An end to a Beginning’ in this year’s Christmas Art Competition. Congratulations to Sophia Burke (Yr 6) who was awarded a Highly Commended Award for her artwork ‘The Greatest Gift’.
We are proud of all our artists who were able to travel to Bathurst and see their artworks on display at the Exhibition the 2024 Christmas Art from around the diocese. Thankyou to Mr Toole and Mr Rogers for taking the students. Many thanks again to Maddie Burton for her time and expertise in guiding the students.

Good luck to Lilah, William and Brycen who will be representing the Bathurst Diocese at the Polding Athletics Carnival in Newcastle on Friday. We are very proud of your efforts!
Touch Footy Gala Day
Last Wednesday students from Years 3 – 6 joined with our friends from St Michael’s, Dunedoo to play Touch Footy in Mudgee. This annual carnival is a great opportunity for fun and friendship through sport as we compete for the ‘Dave Aldridge Shield’ for good sportsmanship. It was a wonderful day and our teams were all complimented for their skill, improvement throughout the day and indeed their good sportsmanship. Many thanks to the teachers and parents from the schools, who managed our nine teams throughout the day. We are grateful that the day is run by NSW Touch Football and supported by Mudgee Touch association and thank them for their effort
Green Day
This Thursday our Yr 5/6 students will attend ‘Green Day’ at the Mudgee Showground ‘Green Day’ will provide a fun learning experience and expose the students to some of the organisations and issues relevant to environmental management in their region.
This year’s theme, ‘Grow Your Own Way – DIRT ALIVE’ will have guest speakers DIRT GIRL (Get Grubby TV) and Hannah Maloney from Gardening Australia and Gardening Australia Junior and aims to teach students about the subject of soil and its importance. The students will travel by mini bus with Mr Toole, Miss Norris, Mrs Watts and Mr Rogers.
