Letter From The Principal - Brad Toole
Dear Parents/Carers,
It is with great excitement and anticipation that I write to you today about an event that holds a special place in the heart of our school community—the All Hallows Catholic School Bazaar Fundraiser.
The Bazaar Fundraiser is a cherished tradition at All Hallows, and it is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our parent community. This event not only brings joy and fun to our school but also plays a vital role in supporting the various educational initiatives and activities that enrich the lives of our students.
As we prepare for this year's Bazaar, scheduled for Friday 8th November, I am reaching out to you, our parent community, to ask for your continued support. Your involvement can make a significant difference in the success of this fundraiser and, ultimately, in the opportunities we can provide to our students.
Here are a few ways you can contribute to the success of our Bazaar:
Volunteer: We need volunteers to help with various aspects of the event, such as planning, setting up, running stalls, and cleaning up afterward. Your time and effort are invaluable.
Donate: Whether it's items for stalls, baked goods for the bake sale, or your time to provide a service your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Spread the Word: Encourage friends and family to attend the Bazaar. The more people we can involve, the more successful the event will be.
Attend: Come to the Bazaar with your family and enjoy the afternoon with us. Your presence not only supports our cause but also fosters a sense of community within our school.
We understand that everyone's circumstances are different, and any contribution, big or small, is valued and appreciated. Your support is what makes All Hallows Catholic School such a special place for our children to learn and grow.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude in advance to all the parents who will step forward to support our Bazaar Fundraiser. Together, we can ensure that our school continues to thrive and provide the best possible education for our students.
Holiday Message
We have reached the end of Term 3 and I can confidently say that all the students (and staff) are ready for a well deserved two weeks of rest and relaxation. Week 10 is an ideal time to focus on the successes and the challenges that we have had during the last ten weeks.
Have a great holiday and we will see you all on Monday 14th October when school resumes. Students will return in their summer uniform. It is important that they have their hats to keep them safe from the sun, correct school shoes and appropriate haircuts.

Footy Colours Day - Friday 27th September
We have a special ‘Footy Colours Day’ on Tomorrow, Friday. Kids are invited to wear the colours of their favourite sporting teams. It can be local or professional teams.
We ask everyone to donate a gold coin that will be donated to the local ‘Can Assist’ charity.
R.E. Matters - Walking In The Light Of Christ
SERVE – ‘LIGHT THE WAY’
… ‘the action of helping or doing work for someone
synonyms: act of assistance, good turn, favour, kindness, helping hand.
As we come towards the end of our term with ‘Serve’ as our focus, we would like to acknowledge and thank those who model this to the children and adults alike in our All Hallows Catholic School community.
We are blessed at our school to have so many caring parents and grandparents who are the synonyms of service.
This is evident through their help with reading, canteen, gardening, morning tea creating, parish church preparation, driving students to events, supporting each other, supporting staff, book covering, costume creating and many more volunteer tasks done in our school each week.
TO ALL OF YOU WE SAY…
THANKYOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR ALL HALLOWS
All Saints Feast Day is 1st November.
This year we will be celebrating our Feast Day over two days.
Our Feast Day Mass will be held at 9am on Friday 1st November, followed by a morning tea with families on the front playground.
The following Monday (the 4th of October), all classes will participate in a service activity in the Gulgong community. This tradition to use our school feast day as a day of SERVICE is very important to our school and we look forward to coming up with ‘Acts of Service’ for our community. If you have any good ideas for what classes can do to help others, please let us know.
Netball Gala Day
Last Friday our netballers from Years 3 – 6 joined with our friends from St Michael’s, Dunedoo and St Columba’s, Yeoval to play a very busy day of netball in Mudgee. Each team played 8 games. This annual carnival is a great opportunity for fun and friendship, hosted by St Matthew’s, Mudgee. It was a wonderful day and our teams were all complimented for their skill, improvement throughout the day and indeed their good sportsmanship. Many thanks to the staff and parents from the three schools, who managed our teams throughout the day. We are grateful that the day is organised and run by the staff and senior students at St Matthew’s, Mudgee and thank them for their effort.
