2024 Newsletter Term 2 Week 5
Letter from the Principal - Brad Toole
Dear Parents/Carers,
It is crazy to think that we are approaching the halfway through Term 4. The year has gone very quickly and we have many things to look forward to coming up at the end of the year.
Last Friday was the Feast of All Saints. We celebrated the feast of All Hallows in our school by holding a liturgy, celebrating morning tea and then serving the community in many different ways. A real highlight was the ‘Saints Cafe’ where we served all the volunteers in our school community. It was a very special day and the kids loved celebrating all the saints that we look up to and try to live our lives according to their values.
It is important to ensure your child has sunscreen on every day and is wearing their hats both to and from school. Please ensure that they are bringing enough water to get them through the day well hydrated.

All Saints Feast Day - 1st November
Last Friday we celebrated our school Feast Day with a beautiful mass led by Fr Garry, followed by Mr Rogers and Yr 5 hosting a Morning Tea. Thankyou to our families who could join us to celebrate.
On Monday, as part of our Feast Day celebrations, each class carried out works of service in the community. Thankyou to the staff for organising these. Our Feast Day is an opportunity to celebrate our belonging to our All Hallows family.
Mass of All Souls' – 7th November
During November we are asked to especially pray for those who have died and those who care for those who are grieving their loss. Once again, this year, a Parish Mass will be held at the Gulgong Cemetery on Thursday 7th November at 5pm.
Please bring a rug / chair to sit on.
All Hallows Jump Rope For Heart
Last Wednesday we were blessed with perfect weather for our Jump Off event for Jump Rope for Heart. Our Demo Team, made up of students from Kinder to Year 6 got the event started with their routine. Their efforts in training paid off and they put everyone in the mood to skip. From here the whole school was jumping. There were tricky skips, partner skips, long rope and longest skipper competitions, firstly the Infants and then Yr 3 and Yr 4. With a quick break for recess, the skippers were back at it with Yr 5 and Yr 6 taking their turn at being the longest skipper. We really appreciated being able to skip with parents and teachers throughout the event. An impromptu ‘Routines’ competition was another highlight. Altogether the school raised $6050 – A very generous effort from all. This money will all go towards vital heart research and education programs.
