Letter from the Principal - Brad Toole
Dear Parents,
Pupil Free Day
We have a Pupil Free Day on this coming Monday 24th March. No supervision will be available at school that day.
End of Day Pick Up Procedures
A reminder that at the end of day pick up we require all adults who are collecting children to come into the school grounds and collect students from the basketball court. We ask all parents to leave the school grounds through the double gates to avoid congestion at the single bus gate. We are trying to make our end of day procedures safer for all students and ensure everyone gets home safely and in the correct manner. Bike riders and students walking home by themselves will leave after the first wave of students has left and the traffic has eased.
Thanks for your support with this.
NAPLAN
NAPLAN has been completed for 2025. Well done to all our Year 3 and Year 5 students for giving their best efforts. Results will be made available later in the year.

R.E. Matters
The theme for 2025 is…

All Hallows - People of Hope
2025 is a Year of Jubilee!

This week we celebrate the Feast Days of St Patrick ( 17th March )
and St Joseph (19th March).
Both men were responsible for having those in their care learn about
the love of God and the importance of trusting in His way.
We look to these saints for guidance in our everyday lives and are
encouraged to learn more about their lives of service and care for others.
Why does the Church honour St Patrick and St. Joseph?
Catholics do not worship saints, but ask for their heavenly intercession before God and seek to imitate their virtues here on earth. The Catholic Church honours St Patrick as it was the early Irish Catholic migrants in Australia who, bringing their faith with them, often faced discrimination, but still found a way to build the church in Australia. The Catholic Church honours St. Joseph as the foster father of Jesus. He is invoked as the patron saint of the Universal Church. He is also the patron of workers, fathers, and a happy death. All Hallows Catholic Primary School has a special devotion to St Joseph through our connection to the Sisters of St Joseph, our founders.

Fast Pray Give

This week through Project Compassion, we learn about Toefuata'iga from Samoa.
Toefuata'iga, a 13-year-old student in Samoa, faced severe challenges and disruptions to her learning due to water scarcity. After Caritas Australia’s partner Caritas Samoa installed a 10,000 litre water tank at her school, Toefuata'iga and her classmates saw improved health and more consistent class attendance.
“I would like to become a good teacher. To teach the children so they will have a brighter future,” Toefuata'iga said.

Loreto Visit
Our students really enjoyed their visit from the Year 10 students from Loreto Normanhurst. The Loreto students have been supporting the students in their learning in the classroom. In the afternoon they prepared and are teaching lessons revolving around Drama, Stem and PD/Health.
